My Christian Walk    

Now that I have asked Jesus into my heart and life, what do I need to do to walk with Him daily?

Read the Bible

    The Bible is God's word.

     It can teach you how to live for God.

     

  Pray 

To pray is to talk to God

   We can pray in Jesus name and God will hear us.

Obey God's Word 

        The Bible tells us not to just listen to the word,

but also do what it says.

       Go to Sunday School and Church

      God wants us to get together with other Christians,

       so we can learn about Him and praise Him together. 

How can I show others that Jesus lives in me?

You can do all the things that we just talked about.

You should also be forgiving and loving to others.

The Bible says in Ephesians 4:32,

 

"...be ye kind to one another...

     forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you."

~Tell others what Jesus has done for you.~ 

Let the love of Jesus shine through you.

The Bible says in Matthew 5:16,

"...let your light shine before men,

  that they may see your good deeds

  and praise your Father in heaven."

God will help you do all these things if you ask Him.

You have His Holy Spirit inside you as your guide.

What if I sin after I receive Jesus as my Savior?

Tell God about your sin.

Ask Him to forgive you in Jesus name.

The Bible says in 1 John 1:9,

"If we confess our sins,

He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins..."

Then, ask God to help you not sin again.
