~David & Sindee~

Once upon a time there was a young airman named David.
David was stationed at Little Rock A.F.B. in Arkansas.
There was also a young lady, Sindee, that lived up the road.
Sindee was preparing to start off to college.
Now, there was one thing that both of these young folks liked to do, roller skate!
Roller Skate???
Well, in 1979 roller skating was the thing to do! Yes, I said 1979.
Sindee and David both frequented a local skating rink in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
The first time Sindee saw David skate in, she thought he was, well lets say, a little strange.
He was quite adventuresome and loved to do what looked like dangerous stunts on his skates.
Sindee on the other hand was very calm and cool and wanted things to stay that way.
She just skated around to the music and dodged the crazy people.
Eventually the two bumped into each other and became friends.
These two opposites found out that they really enjoyed each other's company.
Go figure!
David made Sindee laugh and liked to amaze her with his magic tricks.
He was a pretty good couple skater too. :-)
Their friendship deepened as the days went on, and soon they found they were in love.
They had both found their 2nd love!
2nd love???
Well, you see, the 1st love in both of their lives was their Lord Jesus.
Both Sindee and David had given their hearts to the Lord
and were in the beginning stages of their walk with Jesus.
So, on May 10, 1980, on a country hill in rural Arkansas, David and Sindee became lifemates.
They did not know the joys and struggles that lay before them,
but they trusted in the Lord to carry them through together.
And He has.......
