Hi!  My name is Sindee.
Pull up a chair and visit with me for a while.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 27, 1957.
My  Dad met my Mom there while he stationed at Little Rock A.F.B.
He was in the U.S. Air Force, so we moved around during my childhood.
We went from Arkansas, to Texas, to Indiana, to Massachusetts, and back to Arkansas.
I spent most of my growing up years (from age 5 to 12)
in Indiana at Bunker Hill/Grissom A.F.B.
I have two younger brothers, Jack and John.

Although, I had definitely decided never to marry a military man,
I did it anyway!  I married David on May 10, 1980
and spent another 18 years as an Air Force dependent moving here and there.
We are now settled in Oklahoma.
It has been nice to put down some roots for a change.

I graduated from Beebe High School (Beebe, AR) in 1975.
I only attended Beebe High for one year.
It was a good year though!  Go Badgers!
Prior to that I attended Cabot High School in Cabot, Arkansas and
Gosnell High School near Blytheville, Arkansas.

After finishing high school, I didn't have any clear goals set.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to commit to college at that time.
My Dad let me take a year off.  He said I'd never get the chance again.
Wasn't that a sweet thing to do for your daughter?
After a year, I worked at a hospital in the accounting department,
then moved on to Blue Cross & Blue Shield as a file clerk then stenographer.
During this time of indecision in my life,
I found that I desired a closer relationship with God
and definitely needed direction in my life.
I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal saviour in 1978.
Jesus has been with me every step of every day since.

In the fall of 1979 after I got my little Toyota Celica paid off,
I quit work and started college at Arkansas State University in Beebe, Arkansas.
David and I became engaged in September 1979.
I graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences
with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 1982.

I worked as a Dental Hygienist until David and I moved to Colorado.
Our son, Justin, became part of our family in October 1988.
(That's a whole wonderful story in itself,
so check back sometime, I may tell you about it.)
Once Justin joined our family, I committed myself to being a full-time Mom.
Update:  I recently began a new job as a teacher assistant & I love it!

That's about all there is!  Hope I didn't put you to sleep! HeHe
