Hi there!
I promised a puppy dog page and here it is, finally!
This page is dedicated to all the puppy dogs that have shared their lives with me and mine, providing hours of fun and entertainment, not to mention unconditional love.

Fuzzy

This is my Mom and the first puppy that I can remember.
I believe this picture was made around 1956, pre-me.
Fuzzy was a sweet little girl, but she didn't have much to do with me.
I loved to try to pet her, but she would run and get under the bed.
I think she was mostly Mom's dog anyway. :-)

That's Fuzzy and I in the picture below.
I was probably about 2 or so.
Fuzzy looks a little nervous, doesn't she?
I hope I didn't pull her ears or something.

Rusty

Rusty came along when I was about 6 years old.  He was the sweetest puppy.   We loved him so much,
but boy did he have a temper!  He put me in my place on several occasions. One day I was laying on the floor next to him, staring into his eyes.  Rusty apparently didn't like that and decided to make me aware of it by biting my nose.
I walked around with a black and blue nose for a week.  :-)
Needless to say, I didn't stare at him again.

He didn't like you to point your finger at him either.  He would growl and bark like he was a big dog or something.
When my brother, John, was a baby, Rusty would guard him.  Sometimes I couldn't even get near John's bed.

He was crazy about all of us though.  Anytime we came home, he would squirm and wiggle and cry himself silly with joy.
He loved to sleep on my bed and curl up in my jacket. I grew up with Rusty, so he was very special to me.
He was around for almost 13 years.
